Community Standards

Work should be safe, honest and dignified. These standards apply to every account, listing, message, review and engagement on AdorWorks.

Effective 10 September 2026 · Version 1.0

Our baseline

Treat people with dignity, describe work honestly, agree terms before work begins, protect private information and raise concerns without retaliation. Talent never pays AdorWorks or a supposed representative to register or to access legitimate work.

1. Who must follow these standards

These standards apply to talent, employers, clients, service businesses, staff, assessors, assisted-access agents and anyone acting through an AdorWorks account. They apply on the website and to conduct outside it when that conduct is connected to an AdorWorks introduction, contract or safety concern.

2. Honest identities, organisations and opportunities

  • Use your real identity or a clearly authorised organisation identity. Do not impersonate another person, company or AdorWorks representative.
  • Do not falsify credentials, portfolios, references, verification evidence, budgets, job terms, work history, reviews or payment records.
  • Only post genuine, lawful work with a clear scope, responsible contact and realistic compensation.
  • Do not publish pyramid schemes, advance-fee offers, deceptive investment opportunities, fake jobs, data-harvesting listings or offers whose main purpose is recruiting more participants.
  • Do not demand a recruitment, registration, application, interview, shortlist or “opportunity unlock” fee from talent.

3. Respect and equal opportunity

Harassment, sexual harassment, threats, intimidation, stalking, bullying, humiliation, retaliation and hate-based conduct are prohibited. Employment decisions and workplace treatment must not unlawfully discriminate on protected characteristics. Legitimate role requirements may be stated only where they are lawful, necessary and directly connected to the work.

Do not pressure anyone into romantic or sexual contact, exchange work for personal favours, or use professional access to exploit a power imbalance. AdorWorks may act on credible safety information even if the affected person does not make a formal complaint.

4. Fair work and payment

  • Confirm scope, price or pay basis, currency, milestones, expenses, timing, acceptance and cancellation terms before work begins.
  • Pay accepted work as agreed. Do not withhold payment to obtain unrelated extra work or favourable reviews.
  • Do not submit copied, plagiarised, stolen or knowingly low-quality work, and do not misrepresent progress or time.
  • Skills tests must be proportionate and must not be disguised productive work. If a test creates usable value, agree fair payment and ownership in advance.
  • Do not manipulate time records, approvals, milestones, disputes, reviews, referrals or any future payment protection process.

5. Safety and lawful work

Do not use AdorWorks for trafficking, forced labour, child labour, sexual exploitation, violence, illegal goods or services, corruption, money laundering, sanctions evasion, fraud, unauthorised surveillance, malicious hacking, or work that violates another person’s rights. Do not request dangerous field work, relocation or access to vulnerable people without disclosing the risk and providing appropriate safeguards.

Employers must provide a safe environment, suitable equipment, lawful instructions and emergency information. Talent may stop work and report where there is a reasonable and immediate safety concern.

6. Privacy, confidentiality and platform integrity

  • Use personal and business information only for the opportunity or service for which it was shared.
  • Do not publish identity documents, private messages, personal contact details, confidential files or dispute evidence without a lawful reason and appropriate permission.
  • Do not scrape profiles, send spam, distribute malware, probe security, bypass access controls or interfere with the service.
  • Do not coerce someone to move communication or payment off-platform in order to hide misconduct or defeat an agreed record.
  • Respect copyright, trade marks, confidentiality duties and ownership terms for deliverables.

7. Reviews and reporting

Reviews must reflect genuine experience and relevant facts. Buying, trading or threatening reviews, coordinating fake feedback, or punishing someone for an honest safety report is prohibited.

Report suspected fraud, non-payment, harassment, discrimination, unsafe work or other violations through the contact form. Include the relevant account, opportunity or contract reference and preserve messages or files, but do not send passwords or full payment credentials. If anyone is in immediate danger, contact appropriate local emergency services or public authorities first.

8. How enforcement works

AdorWorks considers the seriousness of the conduct, available evidence, context, previous behaviour, risk of harm and legal obligations. Actions may include education or a warning, content removal, verification review, feature restrictions, a paused opportunity or milestone, account suspension or closure, preservation of evidence, or referral to relevant authorities. Serious fraud, exploitation, violence or safety threats may lead to immediate restriction.

Where appropriate and safe, we will notify the affected account and allow a request for review through the contact form. An appeal should identify the decision and provide new context or evidence. We may limit details to protect reporters, confidential information and an active investigation.

9. Related policies

These standards form part of the Terms of Use. Personal information is handled under the Privacy Policy, and project cancellation and direct-payment issues are covered by the Cancellation & Refund Policy.
