Help & frequently asked questions.
Quick answers about registering, verification, fees and payments. For a hiring-specific FAQ, see the bottom of For Employers. Can't find it here? Contact us directly.
Getting started
Does it cost anything for talent to register?
No. Registration and access to legitimate work is free for talent, and always will be — see Pricing. AdorWorks never charges a jobseeker a fee to be considered.
How do I sign up?
Create an account directly, any time — it's self-service. If getting online to do that is the hard part, see in-person help instead.
I already have an account — where do I sign in?
At ador-works.vercel.app/login, from any device.
Verification
How does AdorWorks verify talent?
Through staged tiers — registered, identity verified, AdorVerified (portfolio and references checked) and AdorCertified (a practical assessment) — each one checked by a person, not just an automated score. See the full breakdown on For Talent.
Does a higher tier mean the talent below it isn't checked at all?
No — every tier above "registered" involves a real check; higher tiers mean more was verified, not that anything lower is unchecked. An automated score is never presented as a complete judgement on its own.
How does AdorWorks verify employers?
Organisations go through their own verification step before a brief is matched against talent — see Trust & Safety for what that covers.
Fees and payments
Is there a platform fee right now?
No. AdorWorks charges a 0% platform fee today, while it's in its founding pilot — see Pricing for the model being tested for later.
Does AdorWorks hold payments in escrow?
Not yet. AdorWorks doesn't describe client funds as escrow, since a licensed local payment partner hasn't been confirmed. Engagements are currently scoped and invoiced directly while that's finalised — see Trust & Safety.
How will I actually get paid, or pay someone?
Milestone-based payment tracking exists in the platform today for confirmed engagements; live third-party payment processing depends on the payment-partner question above being resolved first.
Trust & support
What if something goes wrong on an engagement?
Every engagement has a named AdorWorks contact and a documented dispute process, mediated by staff rather than left between the two parties — see Trust & Safety.
How do I report a concern?
See the reporting section on Trust & Safety, or contact us directly if it's urgent.
Do I have to do the whole process myself?
No — AdorWorks is staff-assisted by default for both employers and talent. See Assisted Hiring for how that works, including in-person help for talent who need it.
