Privacy Policy
This policy explains what personal information AdorWorks handles, why we use it and the choices available to you.
Effective 10 September 2026 · Version 1.0
AdorWorks is a working name and a venture of Adormedia Ltd. This policy describes the current pilot. It will be reviewed with qualified counsel as the operating model, registrations and cross-border services are confirmed. It does not reduce any mandatory privacy rights you have under applicable law.
1. Who this policy covers
This policy applies when you visit the AdorWorks website, create or use an AdorWorks account, submit an employer brief or talent profile, communicate through the platform, use staff-assisted access, or contact us about an opportunity, service, safety issue or dispute. AdorWorks is responsible for the information it decides to collect and use for these activities.
Questions and privacy requests can be sent through our contact form. Please do not send passwords, one-time codes or full payment credentials.
2. Information we collect
- Account and contact information: name, email address, phone number, location, preferred language, account role and authentication records.
- Talent and professional information: skills, work history, education, availability, rates, portfolio items, references, assessments and verification status.
- Employer and organisation information: organisation details, representative authority, role, sector, hiring needs, budgets and verification evidence.
- Marketplace activity: opportunities, applications, shortlists, contracts, milestones, deliverables, approvals, timesheets, reviews, disputes and direct-payment status records.
- Identity and safety information: identification or business evidence submitted for verification, reports of fraud or misconduct, and records needed to investigate a concern.
- Communications and support information: platform messages, form submissions, assisted-access records and correspondence with our team.
- Technical information: device and browser details, security logs, approximate network location, consent choices and website analytics when you accept analytics cookies.
We receive information from you, from an organisation or representative acting for you, from another party to a marketplace interaction, from verification sources you authorise, and automatically from your device. Please only provide information about another person when you are authorised to do so.
3. How we use information
We use information to create and secure accounts; publish profiles and opportunities according to selected visibility settings; match talent with work; support applications, contracts and milestones; verify people and organisations; communicate service messages; provide assisted access; prevent fraud and abuse; resolve disputes; maintain records; improve accessibility and performance; and comply with legal obligations.
Where applicable law requires a legal basis, we rely on steps requested before or during a contract, consent for optional activities, our legitimate interests in operating a safe and effective service, and compliance with legal obligations. You may withdraw consent for future processing where consent is the basis, although earlier lawful use remains valid.
4. Visibility and sharing
Profile or opportunity information is public only where the product clearly marks it for public display or you approve that visibility. Identity documents, verification evidence, private contact details, contracts, disputes and private messages are not intended for public display.
We may share relevant information with employers, talent or service providers involved in a transaction; authorised AdorWorks staff and assessors who need it for their role; technology, hosting, communications, analytics and security providers acting for us; professional advisers; and public authorities when disclosure is required by law or reasonably necessary to protect people and the service. We do not sell personal information.
Some providers may process information outside South Sudan. When we use such providers, we select appropriate services and apply contractual, technical or organisational safeguards suitable to the risk and applicable law.
5. Cookies and analytics
Essential browser storage may be used for security, sign-in, service-worker caching and your preferences. Google Analytics is loaded only after you choose “Accept” on the analytics banner and a measurement property is configured. If you decline, analytics storage remains disabled. You can clear the saved choice in your browser storage to be asked again.
6. Retention and security
We keep information only for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes above. The period depends on account status, the type of record, an active contract or dispute, fraud and security needs, and legal, tax or audit requirements. When information is no longer needed, we aim to delete or anonymise it where technically and legally feasible. Some contract, safety and audit records may need to be retained after an account closes.
We use access controls, role separation, authentication, logging and secure service providers to protect information. No system is completely secure. Report suspected account misuse through the contact form as soon as possible.
7. Your choices and rights
Depending on applicable law, you may ask to access, correct, update, restrict, object to or delete your personal information; change profile visibility; withdraw consent; receive a copy of information you provided; or complain about our handling of it. We may need to verify your identity and may retain information when law, safety, fraud prevention or an active contract requires it. We will explain if a request cannot be completed in full.
AdorWorks does not currently make decisions with legal or similarly significant effects solely through automated processing. Matching and verification decisions include human review during the pilot.
8. Children
Marketplace accounts are intended for people aged 18 or older who can enter a binding agreement. If you believe a child has submitted personal information, contact us so we can review and take appropriate action.
9. Changes and contact
We may update this policy as the service or law changes. Material changes will be dated and, where practical, notified through the website or account. Continued use after an effective date is subject to applicable law and any consent that the change requires.
For a privacy question or request, use the AdorWorks contact form and choose “Privacy / data request.” You can also review our Terms of Use, Community Standards and Cancellation & Refund Policy.
