Terms of Use
These terms set the ground rules for using AdorWorks and for work arranged through the founding pilot.
Effective 10 September 2026 · Version 1.0
AdorWorks is a working name and a venture of Adormedia Ltd. These terms describe the current staff-mediated pilot. They will be reviewed with qualified counsel as registrations, licensing, payments and cross-border services are confirmed. Mandatory rights under applicable law always remain in force.
1. Agreement and eligibility
By accessing the website or creating, accepting or submitting content through an AdorWorks account, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, Community Standards and any written contract or project terms you accept. If you use AdorWorks for an organisation, you confirm that you have authority to bind it.
You must be at least 18 years old, have legal capacity to contract, and use accurate information. You are responsible for your login details and activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access.
2. What AdorWorks does
AdorWorks provides a marketplace and staff-assisted services for publishing opportunities, presenting talent, matching, applications, contracts, milestones, communications, reviews and dispute support. Unless a separate written agreement says otherwise, AdorWorks is not the employer, employee, agent, partner or representative of either marketplace party and does not guarantee that a listing, match, person, organisation or outcome will meet every need.
Verification badges describe checks completed at a point in time; they are not warranties of identity, future conduct, solvency or work quality. Users remain responsible for appropriate due diligence, lawful contracts, workplace safety, supervision, taxes and professional advice.
3. Accounts, listings and applications
- Provide truthful, current and complete information and update material changes.
- Only publish work you are authorised to offer and only apply using your own identity or an authorised organisation account.
- State the scope, location, work arrangement, budget or pay basis, timing and material risks clearly.
- Do not copy, scrape, sell or misuse profiles, contact details, listings or verification information.
- Do not use AdorWorks to avoid employment, tax, immigration, licensing, safety or other legal obligations.
AdorWorks may correct formatting, request evidence, pause publication, decline or remove content, or require enhanced review where a listing or account creates safety, fraud, legal or quality concerns.
4. Contracts, work and communication
Before work begins, the parties should confirm in writing the scope, deliverables, milestones, acceptance method, price, currency, expenses, ownership, confidentiality, cancellation and dispute process. Platform records help document the relationship, but the parties are responsible for reading and accepting the final terms.
Employers must provide a safe, non-discriminatory working environment and pay accepted work as agreed. Talent must perform with reasonable skill and care, meet agreed deadlines, disclose conflicts and promptly communicate blockers. Neither party may request an unpaid test that is really productive client work.
5. Fees and payments
During the founding pilot, AdorWorks charges a 0% marketplace commission and talent is never charged to register or to access legitimate work. If pricing changes, the applicable fee will be disclosed before a user accepts a paid service; changes will not be applied retroactively to an existing contract unless the parties agree.
The current payment experience is a simulation and does not move real money. Employers pay talent or service providers directly using an agreed method. AdorWorks does not hold client funds, operate an informal escrow account, or guarantee or reverse a third-party transfer. Any future in-platform payment service will use a licensed, documented provider and separate payment terms. See the Cancellation & Refund Policy.
6. Content, ownership and confidentiality
You keep ownership of content you submit. You grant AdorWorks a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, copy, adapt for formatting, display and transmit that content only as reasonably needed to operate, secure and improve the service and to provide the visibility you select. You confirm you have the rights needed to submit it.
Ownership of project deliverables is controlled by the contract between employer and talent. Unless that contract says otherwise, these Terms do not transfer deliverable ownership. Each user must protect confidential information received through an engagement and use it only for the agreed purpose.
7. Safety, enforcement and account closure
You must follow our Community Standards. We may limit features, remove content, pause an opportunity, suspend or close an account, preserve evidence or notify relevant authorities where reasonably necessary to protect people, investigate misconduct, comply with law or enforce these Terms. Where appropriate, we will explain the reason and provide a route to request review.
You may stop using AdorWorks and request account closure through the contact form. Closing an account does not cancel an active contract, remove obligations already incurred or require deletion of records that must be retained for legal, safety, fraud, tax or audit reasons.
8. Service availability and responsibility
The pilot is provided on an “as available” basis. We aim for accurate, secure and accessible service, but do not promise uninterrupted availability, a particular match, income, hire, payment or commercial result. To the maximum extent permitted by law, AdorWorks is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses or for conduct and direct-payment arrangements between independent users. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability or a right that cannot lawfully be excluded.
9. Disputes and governing law
First raise a marketplace or contract issue through the contact form so the record can be reviewed and a facilitated resolution attempted. Urgent threats or criminal conduct should also be reported to appropriate local authorities. These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Sudan, subject to any mandatory consumer, employment, privacy or other protections that apply where a user is located or work is performed. The competent courts may resolve disputes that cannot be settled informally.
10. Changes and contact
We may update these Terms as the service or law changes. Material changes will have a new effective date and, where practical, notice on the website or through an account. Changes requiring consent take effect only after that consent is obtained.
Questions about these Terms can be sent through the AdorWorks contact form or to info@adorworks.net.
